About Mitch Gilbert
My Story
Hi, I’m Mitch, a creative and team-oriented UI Designer. After 9 years of experience in the Culinary Art industry as a chef, I learned to demonstrate how even food can be a design item, starting from kitchen concepts and menu design, finishing with food presentations both in person and online. I became a subject matter expert in research on food choices and preferences, and challenged and reappraised the parameters of conventional culinary habits, which helped me to understand my customers' needs better. Working in a kitchen help me build teamwork and leadership skills. This got me into the field of UX/UI design and since then, I successfully completed an 8-month UX/UI course at CF and continue to expand my knowledge of creative arts, experience applying human-centered design and research to achieve higher-level customer satisfaction. I will be happy to discuss further your requirements and my qualifications for the junior UX/UI Designer with your team.
